Hutech also makes a drop-in filter holder which will accomodate a 52mm IDAS
filter.  The 52mm filter thread works directly on my Nikkor 105mm Micro and
200mm Micro lenses, and I can use the Hutech adapter to attach it to a
telescope (AP Stowaway in my case) in lieu of buying an additional 2" IDAS
filter.

For larger filter thread lenses, the 77mm IDAS is a good solution - it can
be stepped down with filter rings to accomodate smaller camera lenses, as
you've indicated.
