Grant -
It must be a bug.  Maybe it has to do with harsh contrasts within the jpg
image?  I'm really grasping here....
I'm using PS6 and the image was originally posted with a "standard"
compression.  I then tried "optimized" and it was the same result.  I then
reloaded the "standard" compression image.  Excellent thought though!

Still scratching my head.
