Re: [APML] New Bubble Shot

Hypering.  I know...I know...  The one thing this hobby never lacks is new some next step to take involving hundreds of dollars, lots of trial and error (usually in the reverse order), tweaking setups and technique add infinidum...  Can't wait!!<vbg> Just not ready to take that plunge and with the limitation of good films left I've been pretty happy just to find the Provia that has good balance and fine grain.  Will probably stick with trying longer exposures for a while.

Maybe you should try  a hypered film? Shooting at a slow f/ you need all you can get!

Thanks Alan and Jim.  I think film would make a big difference as well as I looked at Bobby's shot at f7 (2 x 90 minutes only) with hypered PJ400 and there's a world difference.

I have to get better calibrating exposure times with the Provia 400F.  I did push it 2 stops as well by the way.

The Bubble has been my obsession the last couple
months. Finally had some sucess this last dark period.
It is faint, all my exposures were 2-5 hours. I was
shooting at f/10 though. Now if I can find a way to
get them scanned and stacked.

Excellent shot.

Alan
