Congratulations on your first Schmit shot at your new observatory. Looking forward to seeing many more. Yes, it almost not worth autoguiding a Schmidt with fast color film. The exposures are very short.

Well, after over six months of hard work building the new observatory, we finally took our first light images with the schmidt camera.  I am very pleased with these initial results, and with a bit of work, look forward to even better upcomming results!  I am pleased to share the following first image with you:
