Thanks Mike, Brian and John for your compliments about our shot!
The big blooming spike that was produced by that bright central star was
wonderfully removed using Ron Wodaskiīs DeBloomer software.
John, the nebula isnīt that bright, I would say itīs medium <g>. The very
dark skies in Namibia helped a lot to get that good signal to noise ratio.
Brian, that halos around the brighter stars are produced by a lot of
deconvolution to the synthetic luminance channel and the combination with
the untouched color data for the final LRGB. You can see that small white
stars inside the halos, they belong to the luminance channel.
