I thought you might have had a good dark location from the way the California nebula was recorded. Those are good shots Thomas.

Thanks!  I'm very fortunate in having an extremely dark sky.  It takes me two hours to get there but it is worth it.

Nice milky way shot! The field is nicely illuminated.
Either your skies are light pollution free, or you
spent some hrs in photoshop!   In any event,

I have just posted several new images I took back on August 12, 2002 during the Perseid Meteor Shower.  All were manually guided using an old Celestron Super C-8.

I also took an image of the Milky Way hoping to get a Perseid, but it didn't happen.  Nevertheless, I thought the image was good enough to be posted.
