I thought you might have had a good dark location
from the way the California nebula was recorded. Those are good shots
Thomas.

Grant,
Thanks! I'm very fortunate in having an
extremely dark sky. It takes me two hours to get there but it is worth
it.

Hi Wade, Nice milky way shot! The field is nicely
illuminated. Either your skies are light pollution free, or you spent
some hrs in photoshop! In any event, Its better than all of
my attempts.

To
all, I have just posted
several new images I took back on August 12, 2002 during the Perseid
Meteor Shower. All were manually guided using an old Celestron Super
C-8. http://www.northwest-landscapes.com/html/meteors/perseids_08-12-02.html I also took an image of the Milky Way hoping to get a
Perseid, but it didn't happen. Nevertheless, I thought the image was
good enough to be posted. http://www.northwest-landscapes.com/html/deepsky/Milky-way-galaxy.html Any suggestions or comments are very
