Re: [APML] Payment for astrophotos

Guys -

When our GP died-about the time Organized Medicine arrived-the days of
office removals of keratoses with electrocoag ceased. What would this
cost in time and money now? At least three appointments, two of which
are to the dermatologist. This is the kind of thing that drives up the
costs and puts care farther and farther out of reach for the middle class.

As for the golden age of GPs: It was purely hippocratic, full of
courage, and replete with consummate knowledge. Now, its just another
expensive referral service to even more expensive specialists-many of
whom have lost their knowledge of the big physiological picture long ago.

Doctors (and lawyers) will always complain about the returns on their
long educations yet, are somehow able to afford those elitist toys I can
only dream of. So, it does no good ranting on APML about how tough
things are when I can't even afford a field flattener or autoguider. And
oh, I've got nearly 200 college units and truly am not into the black
yet business-wise.

Perhaps there should be an "elitist-APML," as well.
