Yes, Don Westergren has done extensive testing
recently. His results can be found at:

Hopefully I did that right.

My own testing a couple of years ago indicated that
after 35 minutes Supra 400 was a stronger collector of
red light than LE 400. If you are limited to short
exposures, LE will be better. But, it dies off
quickly, at least in the unhypered version. Supra will
keep on soaking up light forever, at least up to 5 1/2
hours at f/10.

Supra is available still from places like Adorama.
Supra and RG400 work qutie well unhypered. I don't
need to go on, this information and more is at Don's
site.
