RE: [APML] Payment for astrophotos

Hi Dale,

This is what I think: I think my images have value, and when someone wants
to use them for an enterprise that makes money off of them as content that
they sell, then I expect to be fairly compensated for my work.

You think something is wrong with that? Your comments, imply that my work
is not deserving, or ENTITLED to be compensated?

I guess then that you aren't entitled to what you get paid for your
professional work either.

Trying to get everyone to go on some pseudo strike and withhold images in
>order to force publishers to pay more is not the way.

I never suggested this. Go back and read the thread and get your facts
straight.

Please. I love the morality of taking advantage of whoever you can, just
because you can. That's just great.

Excuse me?

But you do expect to get paid by the people who can afford it, don't
you? Do you get mad when they rip you off? Well, you are not entitled to
get mad then, because they do it because they can. You just don't like
yourself them because you think you are owed something.

Sheesh.
