I use Vuescan with a 2720S....love it...Herm also uses the same combination.

Make raw scans output to file...and have lots of HD space...they come out as 51
meg files each....when you are stack combining 5 or 6 shots, and saving 2 or 3
processing steps each in 16 bit mode...one processing exercise for one final
picture can cost you 1 to 2 gig's of HD space...I just got a CD writer to
relief my 2 full HD's and save CD's for all my raw neg scans, right in the neg
album.
