RE: [APML] OT: Firewall
HI,
EVERYBODY should now be running *some* type of personal firewall. My
favorite is ZoneAlarm at http://www.zonelabs.com , also FREE for home use.
(I am an employee of ZoneAlarm so I might be a little biased ;) )
Internet users can no longer afford to stick their heads in the sand about
this problem and expect someone else to protect them. Plus, it is good net
citizenship. The virus you stop at your machine will be prevented from
spreading.

Since I'm new to the list and to astrophotography (and telescopes for that
matter), perhaps this is an area where I can help add to the cumulative
knowledge... I've had great success with Tiny Software's Personal Firewall:

And, it's free!
