Checking my recent CCD images of the comet...it has a very sharp brightness
profile around the nucleus, with a fairly bright coma...but it should be a
sharp enough 'point source' on which an ST-4 to guide at just about any
focal length and focal ratio. Measuring the full width half maximum of the
nucleus...and comparing it to stars in the image...the comet's FWHM is about
2 - 2.5 times wider than stars...but I bet the ST-4 will centroid on it just
as well.
