It was for each camera body.  I don't know if a DIY kit is available.

Thanks Tony & Mark for your info on foam replacement. Was the $130 for one camera or all 4? I was hoping there were kits for do-it-yourselfers.
 
I am a new-comer to astrophotography & have shot only 4 rolls of film. I have a Nikon F2 & an Olympus OM-1. When I was taking photos of the Leonids I wished I had more cameras. I have a chance to buy a used Nikon F without a prism for $120. This sounds like a bargain to me. Is this a good camera for astrophotography or should I wait for another Nikon F2?
