Hey Jim,

I have one of those, but never got around to using it
for AP. However, I do have the Pro-Optic 500mm f/5.6
from Adorama. $200 or so, and it does ok although you
won't win any awards with it. I got the 350mm f/4
reducer with it. I've more than gotten my moneys worth
from them. If you want to shoot in that focal range
but don't have big bucks, these are fairly good
choices.
