Hi Rob,

you captured a lot of details in the nebulosity. I can't remember any other amateur image of M45 with so much detail.
But there are some things I do not understand:
Why are the rings around the stars asymetrical?
Why is there no ring visible around Merope?
In the rings one can see something that looks like "shadows" of the difraction spikes. Where does this come from?
