Not sure whether you want the diameter of the piece of glass if removed from
the collar or not. Assuming that the glass diameter is "just under" the
inside clear diameter of the outer filter ring, I get 76 mm for my 77 mm
filter and 81 mm for the 82 mm filter. On the other hand, if you want the
clear, unobstructed diameter of the glass as mounted in the collar, I get
71.5 mm for the 77 mm filter and 76.5 mm for the 82 mm filter.
