Re: [APML] Orion nebula and M31

Beautiful pictures. Last night was an exceptional
night for viewing here in Miami. Is it possible that I
saw nebulosity around a central group of stars in M42
through my scope? I have a 10" LX200 f/10. Using a
20mm SuperPlossl, I thought I was staring at a cloud
formation hugging a group of stars, but 30 minutes
later, the ep image was the same. Possible? This was
my first visual observing experience under a cold,
crisp sky.
