Interesting.  That's about 30-40 minutes after I thought it peaked, but I
wasn't methodically counting, either.  I can't argue with your figure,
though, since I know I was seeing at least one per second at various times -
and in only one part of the sky.  Orion did seem to get pretty well sliced
up that night.  I too saw several nearly simultaneous fireballs in that
area, hopefully the film will prove it.
