Yes, we were very fortunate that the clouds cleared as the shower/storm
peaked.  At 1:00 I was getting quite worried that we'd get socked in.  After
4:00 glow from the zodiacal light began to hamper viewing somewhat.  At that
time all four of the largest open clusters in the sky (Pleiades, Hyades,
Beehive, and Coma clusters) were visible.
