Hi Dick and Jon,

I would have to agree with Dick here, what you are saying Jon goes against
everything I have ever heard about gel cells and deep-cycle marine batteries.

I've used gel cells for strobes for 20 years, and the word has always been,
don't drain them all the way, that will damage them. And for "deep-cycle"
that is what the name means, you can deep discharge them.

Anyone else have any info on this?

Jerry
