If money is no object, yes.  We're running some industrial equipment 
off of a slighly under 2kWH* battery pack that will fit in your briefcase
(including 120VAC charger) and be carried with one hand.

But the price for the pack alone is probably around US$5,000 <g>.  I'm
sure that a pocket sized 30-50 aH cell or battery could be produced.
The problem is that unless someone came up with a mass market use for
it they would still cost over $1,000.

Lugging that gel-cell around doesn't look so bad now.
