Re: [APML] STV Question
Jim,
I must be doing something wrong, it still give me a "Speeds?" error. It's
definitely the new version of the firmware, I just loaded it up tonight.
I'm using the "Full-menu" mode, setting relays to "12", setting the time and
exposure to some values and then hit "Calibrate". It does its thing, only
slews in the X axis and then gives a "Speeds?" error. I then set relays to
"34", change the slewing time and hit "Calibrate" again and it does exactly
the ssame thing except it slews only in Y. Still, an error.
Cockpit error?
Sure would be nice if SBIG provided some INSTRUCTIONS!
Some time ago, I changed the cam in my MI-250 to avoid this problem. But
this give limited declination slewing which I'd like to have. Since I
thought this firmware fixed the problem, I put the original cam back in and
loaded the software. Ugh. Maybe I'll just go back to my kludged up cam.
Steve...
