[APML] Single Film Exposure of Saturn 2001

Greetings,

Here's a photo of Saturn made from a single film exposure. I made
digital adjustments to brightness and contrast only. There was no
stacking, smoothing, or deconvolution of any kind.

    Scope: 12" SCT (LX200)
Date: Nov 11, 2001, near midnight
     Film: Fuji Superia Extra 400
 Exposure: 3 seconds
Projection Eyepiece: University Optics Orthoscopic 12.5mm
Telextender: Standard Meade extender at maximum extension
  Location: club site in Oklahoma

It was a night with zero wind and great seeing. Transparency was
fair-OK.
