THAT is a big
question that I can't answer simply... I learned a lot of what I know from a
book called "Real World Photoshop" by David Blatner and Bruce Fraser... they
excell at explaining what happens within Photoshop... for a good "how to" book,
nothing beats the Adobe Press "Classroom in a Book " series to get you started.
This book features "lessons" that you do with a CD and if you complete the book
you will have a working knowledge of PS. The combination of these two books is
excellent... "how to" and "what happens and why".
