I believe that both are made by Cosina, and given slightly different
cosmetic touches for Nikon and Olympus.  Both cameras have mechanical
shutters, which is a good thing for astrophotography, but neither will allow
you to change the focusing screen to a brighter one.  I have the FM10, and
for the money it is a decent camera, but be sure to take the battery out
these before you start a long time exposure - the red LED will fog the film
otherwise.

Ultimately I think it comes down to whether you want to use Nikon or Olympus
lenses.  The selection is far greater with Nikon.
