I've recently acquired a RC scope (optics by Paul Jones), and thought I might try my hand at medium format. The scope shows some curvature of field at the corners of a 35mm frame, so will definitely need a field flattener to do decent medium format. I've not been able to evaluate the optics for astigmatism, though that may need to be corrected as well.
Does anyone know of an optical designer/fabricator that I might be able to work with to design an appropriate corrector?
I'll be getting the scope to first light over the next couple of weeks -- it was formerly George Greany's. I've been wasting the last month of clear skies (a true rarity in Atlanta) building an observatory for the scope. BTW, I fully expect it to start raining next week.
Thanks,
