I'm not sure if you can use the 55mm filter, in the GEG a 48mm filter is screwed
into the camera adapter.. look closely and you will see the threads. Its not a
good idea to filter ahead of the st4, you need all the brightness you can get.
Let me second the suggestion of a 48mm Tokai for deep sky photography.. very
effective and very little color shift. For visual use the Orion skyglow is
good..
