I don't have time to read the article
right now but I can tell you what I do when travelling.... I carry my film in a
little water filter housing that I can suck down (my film is hypered)... when I
get to the x-ray machine I demand that the film be hand-inspected... I don't
know if they do this anymore but if you raise enough fuss and demand to see a
supervisor you might still be able to get the film hand inspected ( I open the
tank to let them see what's inside and also explain that it is film for
scientific research).
