[APML] First results with GEG
Grettings APML-ers,
I just got back my first attempt at M42 using the Lumicon GEG on my C11. It
is also my first try with Royal Gold Select 200 (I've been using RGS-400),
and I'm delighted with its performance. I wouldn't say my tracking was
perfect that night, but given the vagaries of focusing the camera and the
ST-4 and getting it all aligned and running, I am happy with this as a first
try. The processed image at the other end of the link is a stack of a 20
and a 15 minute exposure. There's alos a link to the raw image right off
the CD. I suspect I could expose longer on the RGS-200. 20-25 minutes is
max from my location on RGS-400.

I'd appreciate any feedback, particularly if you see any "tell-tale" GEG
problems.
Thanks,
Darin
