Seeing that someone started a webcam thred, I couldn't resist to post this.
I've just bought an used Connectix B&W QuickCam camera, and I want to use it to autoguide my film images.
Do you have any experiences with it? Wich software do you recommend? And the drives? What could be a practical minimun system requirements for autoguiding?
I have a CG5 mount, and I have made an ST4 like autoguider port. How do I connect the computer to it? I already constructed a parallel interfase, but it seems that it cannot be used with this camera (it uses the paralel port too). Wich settings do I have to use with a serial port?
