Alan,

Yes, that is another way to do it.  The only problem with that is if you
give your e-mail address to someone, you will have to remember to add it to
your address book.  That system works pretty well.

Another way is to check with your ISP for access to their mail server.  You
can then look at e-mails on the server and delete anything you want to prior
to down loading them to your computer.  That can also be used from anywhere
and from any computer to check your e-mails without using a dial up or
someone else's access.

Yahoo has spam filters, but they aren't doing enough. I suppose I could
restrict all incoming e-mails to my lists and folks in my address book.
Is that possible?
