Wish I only had 7-8 lists to contend with.  My current list is about 32.  As
I said, check with your ISP about spam filters.  If they have one, it should
limit your spam tremendously after an initial period.

I appreciate your responses. I have no idea what to do. I like the
thought of a permanent e-mail address but maybe that's not possible
with all the lists I belong to (7-8?). I'll read up on this and see
what my best option is. I thought Congress was discussing this problem.
