RE: [APML] OT: Spam prevention?
Alan,
Who are you using for an ISP? If you go to your e-mail server on your ISP's
web site there is usually spam filters available. I use verizon and since
setting up their spam filter to my e-mail address my spam has been cut down
to single digit per week instead of 10's of X per day. This method, to me,
is more appropriate to the myriad number of programs to add to your system
that you will undoubtedly get in answer to your query.
Hope this helps.
Fred

Subject: [APML] OT: Spam prevention?
All,
Does anyone have a cure for the dozens of idiotic spam e-mails flooding
my 'bulk mail' folder, and occaisonally my inbox? I move them to my
imbox and report them as spam. Viagra type stuff, lotto, and recently,
those messages in German are really pissing me off. Nothing does any
good, they just keep coming. Is there a cure for the junk mail blues?
Thanks,
Alan
