[APML] Oklahoma Aurora

Went to our dark sky site in SE Oklahoma last night
to do some CCD imaging. After moon set I noticed
a light dome to the NE of the site. Hmmm, never
seen that light dome before. Over the course of
the next 15 minutes the "light dome" grew to a
full fledge aurora spanning at least 120 degrees
of azimuth from the NE to the NW compass points.
The pillars reached to the zenith. I could see
a very faint pink color to the naked eye.

As I was kicking myself for not bringing the
DSLR I realized I had a 35mm camera and some
RG200. This shot came out the best.

Don't get to see them this far South very often,
much less this good.....
