I've been shooting a lot of DSLR AP over the past year or so but
I recently made an acquisition that brought me happily back to film. I
picked up a used Pentax 6x7 and 105mm lens for doing wide field work at this
years Texas Star Party. Although the weather was the worst in
recent memory, I did manage to squeeze in a few hours of quality Milkyway time
last Thursday night and have processed the first of the images.

Wow! Which end of the observing field were
you on? Where I was at certainly didn't have skies that looked like
that!
Not a single image I took from Tuesday through
Friday was free from a passing cloud.
Good looking results.
Congratulations.
