Dom, great photos!! I love solar halos and other daytime phenomena. I have
not seen the halos doubled up like yours are. That is quite interesting.
Here is the best one I have on my web page, taken with a Minolta 28mm lens
so it does not have the field of view on the short axis to capture the
entire halo:
