RE: [APML] Tech Pan developing

There's the answer I was looking for! Thanks Jim and Jason.

Jim, the shots I took the other night were blanks. I am trying to find the
answer why. I shot some daylight shots this morning and came up empty as
well. It's either the film or the developer, my D19 may have been corrupted
even though it was a new batch. I'm working through the issues now.

Hi Jason and Scott,

If you want to mix HC-110 in small batches here are my measurements which
have worked well for me.

If you mix HC-110 in small batches mix 1 oz of developer to 31 ozs of water
to make 32 ozs of developer. Or, to make 650 ml mix 20 ml of dev. and 630 ml
of water. Be careful with the instructions on the HC as it's to make a
stock solution not a working solution. Sock solutions are meant to be
diluted with water before use. My system makes developer ready to use. You
can use the proportions to make different amounts.

I normally use 10 minutes but it really depends on the hyper fog on your
film.

Jim

Hi Scott,

I just bought some HC110 to try as well, and the guy at OPT figured I ought
to start with dilution B and a development time between 8-12 minutes and
experiment from there.

Hope this helps,

If someone on the list is using or has used HC110 developer for Tech Pan
could you please tell me what working solution you are using and time for
developing. I am currently using D19 and want to try HC110

Thanks,
