Re: [APML] Walmart prints color problem - long winded

Jerry , if I understand well , your poster is made with 5 differents images of ~ 8" X 10 " ... that can be an option for me instead to do a poster with only 1 image , especialy when I used a fuji 800  ;)

I'm surprised that Kevin had a good result from a 36" X 48" poster with a file of 2160 x 2835 !? But I believe him ;) Kevin , how many dpi was your file ?

When you mentionned " Walmart site " , you mean on their website ?

Jerry , should we consider the dpi in the factors you mentionned ?

Thanks for your clarifications !

Dom :)

Look, everybody, how good a print this big will look depends on several
different factors... number one being how much real resolution the original
has, how big you print it, and the viewing distance.

The 24 x 36 inch print that I made was from a 4877 x 7315 pixel file. This
was not a single original, it was a layout made up of 5 originals. It
looks terrific even at arms length because it has more than 200 pixels per
inch of real resolution to start with.
