Yes you are correct on both aspects. I worked on both versions, and like I stated I did not convert to tiff before processing so I understand you will lose info each time you save. And I had to save at least 3 times with both photos. I might try to see what difference it makes by converting to tiff and then reprocessing. Let me go try.
