[APML] Walmart prints color problem - long winded
I took a few images I scanned in and edited to wal-mart to make prints. On the
machine at the counter (it sends the info to the machine in back) the prints
look OK on the screen. However, the prints look horrible, looks almost like
total noise... You can make out a little of which picture is which though.
The images were scanned in using the Dimage software and edited with Adobe CS.
The file were saved as 16bit tiffs... They were pretty big. After the first
failure I went home and decresed the images size thinking the 20meg+ was too
much for it. Well, even after resizing they still looked bad. This last time,
I let them check out the images on the main machine in back. It displayed them
like the prints... Looks like nothing but noise... But again on the display on
the counter they look perfect. Any ideas? Hate running back and forth to the
store to see if the changes I've made will work.
TIA
Len
