 Hey Fellows...

I might just as easily believe that the words 'Super' or 'Pro' are key in procuring this latest emulsion... but 'Centuria' *should* be in there, too! Again, I ran into this 'name game' when searching for the 35mm size of this emulsion... no one seemed to be able tell me the difference!

Sometimes a film manufacturer will market two versions of the same film, one for 'consumers' and one for 'professionals'. The 'pro' version will have tighter quality controls, so that batch-to-batch and roll-to-roll color matches will be more consistent, if the film is carefully stored and handled. Kodak has done this with it's E-200 and Elite-200, for example. (E-200 is 'pro' version, although Kodak now lists them both as 'pro' films?!?)

I'm certainly going to ask Konica's rep about all this when I follow up with him. Since it's Memorial Day holiday, I'll send him a letter late today, or when I return from work, early tomorrow afternoon.

I've book-marked the links to the package label images that you and Wei-Hao posted earlier in this thread, and I'll also pass along the page that B&H has, with an apparently older version of the film displayed.

Hopefully, Mr. Feldman of Konica can give us lot numbers or something definitive to go by.

 Best... :o)
