Re: [APML] Ilford B&W film + H-Alpha filter
Brian, I loved the B&W shots of Toronto (my home town!). I think your
poem was a beautiful complement to the photo of the street scene.
The guards at the Eaton Centre might be a bit twitchy because of two
things - first of course is that the Eaton Centre makes money from
postcard shots of the mall so they don't want competition for the pro's.
Second is less obvious. There has been for years a Michael Snow
installation that is made up of a flock of life-sized Canada Geese
flying in formation at the south end of the mall. A lot of folks photo
graph it but it offends the artist so perhaps the mall guards react to
any serious looking photographer because of that too.
