RE: [APML] Film: begining of the end?

If you want quality film, get out your silver dollar, hydrochloric acid, and your egg and make your own!

...  oops, the silver dollar is copper and nickel, now; I guess you can't do that anymore either!

Hopefully, someone will consider quality film a sufficiently large niche market to continue making it, but I'll bet astro-useful (and scientific, full-spectrum) films will be replaced by tuned digital detectors before this decade is out.  Probably well before!

Subject: [APML] Film: begining of the end?

hey guys..

Boy, seems I opend up a can of worms here.. LOL...  I still believe film is slowly approaching its demise. May be not for many years
but it will  happen. Having said that, it is only a matter of time before Hollywood goes digital, and where will that leave Kodak?....
