Re: [APML] 2 more photos from TSP (NA & Pellican)

Title:
Regarding the "clouding" between the NA & Pellican, I see a bit of that on my images... It's in the blue channel mostly, with a bit of red. Alternatively, consider it a lack of green maybe due to curving to bring out the nebula (which is mostly red and a little blue). I think some of it is really there, and maybe some may be due to vignetting. I'll look at my raw scans at some point see what I'm starting out with. See http://www.dl-digital.com/1002-10-neal-film.htm and http://www.dl-digital.com/NA-Neb-2003.htm (I know, probably a bit "too red", but I kind of like it!) -Dick Locke Message: 8 Date: Thu, 27 May 2004 22:20:18 -0400 From: "Stuart Heggie" <stuart.j.heggie@sympatico.ca> Subject: Re: [APML] 2 more photos from TSP To: "Discussion of Film Astrophotography" <astro-photo@seds.org> Message-ID: 009801c4445a$585c35c0$694bacce@dupontnet.net"><009801c4445a$585c35c0$694bacce@dupontnet.net> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Phil, that is an odd clouding of the center of the NA Nebula. Too bad! A lot of light fall-off evident. Doesn't affect the Omega Centauri as much but still evident. Nice colours!
