RE: [APML] Ilford B&W film + H-Alpha filter
Phil,
Michael A. Covington tested these films in his book Astrophotography for the
Amateur. The top performer for H-Alpha is hypered tech pan. He found that
Ilford HP5 also has decent H-Alpha response, not as good as Techpan though.
It's been awhile since I read his book, but I believe the Delta film and the
chromogenic films (C41 processing) were poor in the red region.
