RE: [APML] Will a real astrophoto film please stand up.
Jason,
If you want to record H-alpha then you are pretty much limited to
tech pan, E200 or Provia 400/100F. Failing that, a KAF6303E should work well
with the 16"... There doesn't appear to be much of anything in print film
for 656nm. The Konica Centuria 800 shows promise but hasn't had much testing
by this list and it is only available in 35mm. With the Schmidt you could
always try tri-colour tech pan. Keeping track of film choices these days is
really easy - there are only 3 left in production that are good performers.
Unless someone has some sadly needed good news?

I have lost track of the film choices these days.
Still have some PPF but I used RG200 last year and it blew me away. This was
an amazing film but I understand it has changed.
I have been using Fuji Superia 100 in the schmidt camera but want to hop
back into shooting with the 16" Lx200.
Is there anything that comes close to RG200?
Preferably medium format but interested in 35mm as well.
NOT interested in E200, star images are the size of golf balls.
My kingdom for a MF RG200!!
