RE: [APML] Comet NEAT and M44 with the 9" Schmidt camera

Title: Message
Hi Richard,

I like your shot, I also succeeded to shoot the comet with my telephoto lens, but obviously can't be as detailed as yours. Moreover I was guiding on a star and this probably makes also a difference, but I'm not sure...

regards,
Nicola

Hi all, This is a shot of Comet NEAT on the 14th, unfortunately here in Arizona we have been plagued with
clouds. I was able to get 2 shots in before it was completely blocked out, this was shot through the leading
edge of the cloudbank. The shot is 10 minutes with the 6cm x 6cm film holder  giving a field of view of 6 degrees
square. The film is cut 4x5  Provia100 film pushed 1 stop. The guiding was done on the comet's nucleus.
It came out fairly well considering the haze. Enjoy!
