Kent,

I have the MI250 and the STV calibrates and tracks.  The only problem I am having looks like it may be oscillation.  Before I got the MI250, I used the G11 for a short time with the STV.  I am  no expert with autoguiders, I use the auto functions on the STV, and the G11 was my first mount..  But I do remember that I had calibration problems with the G11.  I had the standard non Gemini version so I could increase the guide rate.  I increased the guide rate and the STV would then calibrate and track.  I know this doesn't solve your problem, but my experience supports your theory.

Thanks for the reply.
It's simply amazing that someone would develop a product (Gemini GoTo) that won't work properly for autoguiding. Did they assume it would only be used for visual observing?
