[APML] IDAS filter for Comet?

I'm hoping to try shooting some images of  C/2001 Q4 tonight from the SF 
Bay Area.
Given the prevalence of the WalMart and Safeway nebulae in my 
neighborhood, I was
wondering if use of a Hutech IDAS filter would work well for the comet 
or attenuate it?

Recommendations would be appreciated.
