I wasnt going to mention this, cuz I dont have good facts, etc.

I was speaking with a local mom-and-pop camera shop owner that 
had some 'expiring' RG400 that looked like the old stuff, and she
was selling it for 2-for-the-price-of-1.

Initially, I was hesitant -- I too got burned by the 'new' RG400
and this stuff didnt look "old" enough to be the right film.

Anyhow, we had some discussion, and she mentioned there had
been complaints by others (regular daytime photographers, I presume)
that the color went bad with a batch a couple years ago, and now 
kodak is back to making the "old" stuff.

I've got a roll in one of the cameras, but got cut short by
clouds when I was going to test it last.  I hope to expose it
this weekend.
